About Us:
Adams Express Agency specializes in reliable and efficient courier services. We are currently seeking independent contractor courier drivers with a step/cargo van to provide local delivery services in the Ravena area.
Job Requirements:
· Knowledge of the local area
· Possess a dependable vehicle (step/cargo van)
· Willing to provide proof of identification (2 forms required…Drivers License, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, and/or Passport)
· Proof of insurance. (Bodily injury liability of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per incident and $50,000 property damage liability is required)
· Clean driving record (any traffic violation involving intoxication will result in rejection)
· Smartphone with minimum 3G capability (Android or iPhone. NO LG phones)
· Business license required (basic license issued by city, local, or state government)
Job Responsibilities:
· Load your van at the warehouse with assigned packages for the day.
· Deliver packages to specified customers efficiently and within the designated timeframe.
Qualifications:
· Previous courier experience preferred.
· No CDL required.
Position Details:
· Dedicated account operating Monday through Friday.
· Approximate start time: 08:00 to 09:00 am.
· Loaded miles up to 180, with round trip miles of 240 for the day.
· Location: Ravena.
