We are looking for a tractor trailer driver who has a clean class "A" drivers license. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and can not have any felonies or misdemeanors within the last 5 years. We are looking for full time employees who can work about 40 hours per week. We also need some part time drivers who can work about 4.5 to 20 hours per week.
You will be transporting U.S. Mail from Albany to other mail processing facilities in the northeast region. All trips have either 1 or 2 delivery locations per shift. Loading and unloading at each location will take between 15 to 30 minutes. All trips return to Albany at the end of each shift. Each shift is between 4.5 and 9 hours long. You will be home everyday!
In addition to the $30 per hour you will also receive 10 paid holidays per year. After your first year of employment with us you will receive 2 weeks of vacation per year, after 10 years you will receive 3 weeks of vacation per year and after 15 years you will receive 4 weeks of vacation per year.
Here is how the $30 per hour breaks down: $21.00 per hour for regular wages PLUS $5.32 per hour for fringe benefits PLUS $3.68 per hour for the first year sign on bonus. The entire amount will be paid into your regular paycheck as take home pay.
