Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Sales administrator in Ballston Spa, New York. This role is crucial to our operations in the Light Manufacturing industry, where the selected candidate will be primarily tasked with order processing and maintaining customer records. Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of customer orders Verification of lead times, pricing, and confirmation of order details and committed ship dates Maintain data accuracy in orders and invoices New customer account setup and onboarding support Communication with customers to obtain missing information or address inquiries Support CRM accuracy including lead, account, contact, and opportunity entry and follow-up Assist in customer onboarding procedures while also managing and updating sales and customer records Review pending orders and specific customer requests and manage the Pending Order Tracker system, ensuring data entry and accuracy Collaborate with customers to adjust orders, including quantities and delivery dates, and develop recovery plans for past-due orders Collaborate closely with the Production Manager and Logistics team to manage task priorities, coordinate order lead times effectively, and oversee the production schedule, ensuring on-time shipment of ordersRequirements Familiarity with CRM systems Experience in Answering Inbound Calls Capable of performing Billing Functions Knowledge of Check Processing Proficiency in Excel Formulas Experience in Salesforce Administration Must be capable of working in a light manufacturing environment Experience as an Order Entry Clerk or similar role is desirable Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Ability to work independently and within a team environment Solid understanding of order processing procedures Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
