This position is the focus to which all processes, communication, accountabilities and procedures are filtered through to ensure an aligned team effort. The Project Manager integrates cross-functional projects to deliver specific measured results to the customer.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and manages tactical project plans, goals, and budgets; identifies resources needed, develops schedules and methods for measuring results.Develops timetables for implementation, monitors and performs strategic analysis for the project.Serves as a liaison with company resources and systems to provide current data and information needed.Researches and makes recommendations on procedures to enhance financial and operational efficiencies.Tracks expenses and provides detailed updates to appropriate managers on project statusPartners to develop and deliver system wide communication regarding the progress, accountabilities and gaps in the progress of assigned projectsResearches, compiles and reports current data and manages teams through launch process.Assembles and coordinates project team members; assigns individual responsibilities.Prepares requests for proposals and conducts all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products.Qualifications3+ years successful management of complex projects,5+ years preferredExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel is requiredDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly developed interpersonal, written and oral communicationsConsistent record of accomplishing short term business objectivesAbility to work independently and with others at all levels within the organizationAbility to organize and prioritize effectivelyDemonstrated facilitation skills and ability to manage meetings with project team membersKnowledge of the techniques for managing cross-functional teams.Skilled in planning and preparing written communication.Skilled in presenting ideas and conceptsAbility to synthesize project information and establish the appropriate scope of a project.Ability to apply strong project management skills and methodologies.Ability to communicate and manage team members at all levels effectively.Ability to consider impacts of change systematically and communicate/negotiate those changes.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredCommunications operations or experience is preferred but not requiredAt Optimum, we're fueled by our four core pillars: Taking Ownership, Upholding Transparency, Creating Community, and Demonstrating Expertise. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00-$126,684.00/year.
