We are looking for a dependable Driver/Yard worker for our busy retail lumber yard. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, good communication skills, and an ability to handle a fast paced environment. Our company standards include excellent service, responding efficiently to customer needs and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
deliver building materials
Loading and unloading trucks and site deliveries
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships and trust with our customers.
Handle customer concerns; follow up to ensure resolution
Keep accurate records
Stocking inventory and informing staff of inventory needs.
Skills
Valid Driver’s license.
Forklift experience preferred- will train.
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Applicant will need to pass DOT medical physical.
Full-Time position will be Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am - noon. Our regular operating hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 - 5:00 and Saturdays 8:00 to Noon. Salary will depend on experience. Benefits: Paid time off, Health, Vision and Employer IRA contribution.
