Allstates Consulting Services are looking for Fiber Optic Splicers and Aerial Line men in the NY, PA, MA areas. We currently have an ongoing OSP project in Binghamton, NY. We are looking for long term employees, not temporary help. We move crews between NY, PA, MA and CT to cover the work we have. Some travel is involved with overnight stays. We pay for the hotel and provide a meal allowance.

Job Description:
Allstates Consulting Services is looking for Fiber Splicers to do aerial fiber installation and splicing. We encourage military veterans with telecom/cable/comms experience to apply! The work is in the NY, MA, PA markets. We can consider anyone that is willing to drive into those markets each week. Must be willing to work flexible schedules and possibly be out of town for 1 to 2 weeks if needed, not all work will be close enough for you to travel home each day/week. We are also looking to train entry level Ground men.

This position is responsible for the performance of various tasks including but not limited to:
⢠Placing aerial coax and fiber cable
⢠String and maintain wire (Pulling, Fiber Splicing, Clipping, Stranding & Spacing Line)
⢠Using bucket trucks to Lash and De-Lash Existing & New Cable.
⢠Install equipment and dress pole to customer specifications using assorted small hand and power tools
Position Requirements:
⢠Excellent physical conditioning and stamina. Able to lift 80 lbs.
⢠Ability to work in a confined space and at high elevations (poles, hydraulic lift buckets, ladders)
⢠Knowledge of all construction tools and equipment including; bucket trucks, lasher, blocks, pulling grips, stand/cable trailers, cable layers, hoists, bolt cutters, Client-up sticks and hand lines.
⢠Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
⢠Ability to learn and incorporate climbing and general work safety requirements
⢠Ability to read, comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions
⢠Basic mechanical abilities with hand tools and simple power tools
⢠Ability to pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen, Driver and Background check
