RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a well-known e-Commerce firm located in Brooklyn, New York (NY) to find a Vue.js Developer. In this role, there is some remote flexibility.
Summary:
You will be part of our front-end development team, working closely with back-end and Database Developers on cutting-edge applications, websites, API interfaces and web-apps. Essential Functions:
Work on the front-end development of applications (stand-alone and/or web-apps)
Build components and single page applications using Vue.js. supporting the full-stack team
Work on JavaScript, HTLM, CSS; Interface with custom and/or 3rd party API's as assigned
Work with the team on features, user-stories. and other product roadmap items
Create unit test cases; Perform debugging, code-maintenance, and configuration activities
Create reusable code; Optimize app/website performance for scalability and speed
Maintain code repository; Perform code reviews and archiving activities as assigned
Perform sundry other activities as assigned by the Product Manager/Scrum Master
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related discipline; Can be offset by relevant experience
5+ years of experience in front-end development, with proven expertise in Vue.js
Hands on coding & full stack application development skills in JavaScript, Vue.JS, HTML, CSS
Extensive experience with various development, debugging and code versioning tools
Proven experience in and ability to develop front-ends and interfaces from mock-ups
Familiarity with agile methodologies and lean framework
Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
Build strong professional relationships
Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and a strong sense of professional ethics
