A local company seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to become an integral part of is rapidly growing team. This role is responsible for basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks including reviewing bills for accuracy before entering into records. This person will process a high volume of vendor invoices for multiple related companies. This person will also be responsible for processing checks for disbursement to vendors. Looking for a self-starter that has Accounts Payable experience and can remain focused with repetitive tasks. Candidate must have at least 1 to 3 years of experience with an automated payable system, preferably Quick Books. The ideal individual will have fast and accurate data entry skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Quick Books. Prior experience with restaurants, sales tax preparation and bank reconciliations helpful but not required.
