G&G Fitness Equipment is seeking a great person to work with our organization as an Accounts Receivable, Payable and Inventory Clerk
Position Description
Perform data entry into accounts payable system for new invoices.
Setup, print and mail remittance checks
Perform data entry of received payments into accounts receivable system.
Contact past due receivable accounts for payment status.
Use efficient email and phone communication as necessary with other departments, store personnel, vendors and purchasers to clarify and resolve any issues related to payables and receivables.
Communicating with supervisor(s) regarding problems.
Communicating with vendors to resolve issues.
Communicating with customers regarding accounts receivable due.
Performing all responsibilities in an efficient and accurate manner.
Maintaining proper procedure to ensure efficiency, accuracy and company profitability.
Requirements
Experience related to accounts receivable and accounts payable. Ability to multi-task. High level of attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary. Strong computer skills in areas of business applications such as email, spreadsheets, etc. Solid general understanding of basic accounting concepts including credits, debits, general ledger accounts and sub-accounts, etc. Must be self-motivated and work well independently with minimal direct supervision as well as work well as a member of a team, willing to learn.
