Hiring multiple associates to join our team due to a recent plant expansion!OVERVIEWThe Material Handler is responsible loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. Additionally, the material handler is responsible for emptying super sacks and manually feeding sugar to production lines.DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for following work orders and/or verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedLoads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, etc. using forkliftMoves finished and raw materialsUnloads and processes super sacksManually feeds sugar to production linesWork effectively and ensure that food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality are maintained.Report any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out-of-specification product, equipment, packaging or raw materials, to a designated manager to enable the resolution of issues requiring immediate action.May assist with shipping and receiving as neededAll other duties as assignedWORK EXPERIENCES1-2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment preferredPrior forklift or tow motor experience preferred.
