This position is for a part or full time Head host position at Santora's Pizza Pub & Grill. The most important part of the the job is the customers experience when they walk in the door. Must be able to handle all types of guests and work with them to enhance their time with us.
Responsibilities include;
Managing other staff members that assist you in the host position
Training and guiding all new staff in the host position
Managing the seating process both from a walk in and or an online reservation
Working with servers to streamline the service process both from a server standpoint but also kitchen flow
Answer calls from guests for take out orders, questions about our service and assist them in best scenario for
their needs based on amount of people, menu they have chosen and or any special needs from the guest.
Qualifications for the job;
Able to use computers and Point Of Sale software to process food orders
Able to manage IPAD software that we use to manage floor operations
Need to have at least 5 years restaurant experience in the FOH working with guests
Work well with others during the good and not so good shifts
Have a high tolerance for upset guests and find creative ways to turn bad into good.
Able to put forth your best effort to insure our guests leave satisfied.
Work together with staff to manage our loyalty program and our phone app.
