Construction Laborer – (Clarence and WNY)
R.E. McNamara, Inc., a General Contractor, is seeking skilled and unskilled laborers who are independent thinkers determined to complete any task at hand. This is an entry level position with significant advancement and training potential.
ABOUT US:
R.E. McNamara, Inc., is a general contractor that works in both commercial and residential sectors. A versatile company with focus on large scale renovations, interior finishes, new builds, millwork fabricating and installations, and land development.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Candidates in this position will perform a wide variety of tasks and at times perform as a apprentice or “helper” to a carpenter or superintendent. They will be expected to be independent thinkers and open to learning a wide range of skills associated with general construction.
TYPICAL WORK DUTIES:
Incumbent will be expected to perform any tasks of the unskilled nature
Interior and exterior demolition including but not limited to cabinets, drywall, flooring, tile, siding, fencing, concrete, landscapes, etc.
It is preferred for incumbent to possess the ability to transport trucks, trailers and/or other various pieces of equipment.
It is preferred for incumbent to possess the ability to operate various equipment including but not limited to skid-steer, mini-excavator, demolition hammer, fork truck, dump trailer, power washer, tractor, basic power tools, etc.
POSITION REQUIRES:
Current NYS driver’s license
Strong work ethic
Time management skills
Personal accountability for high quality work
Ability to work directly with customers as well as other employees
Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, on-time, with the customer completely satisfied
