Responsible for general maintenance, appearance, upkeep and condition of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Participate in facilities maintenance and repairs
Be proactive in addressing all problems identified through inspections.
Receive notification of problems from the tenants, management or other co-workers.
Immediately notify management of problems beyond scope of responsibility.
As a primary point of contact for tenants, act with courtesy, respect and in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Act with discretion and do not discuss confidential information with tenants. This includes information about security, company operations, quality of structure or materials, and costs.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks
Operate equipment, as needed
Participates in snow removal and de-icing as required
Assures that work is completed properly
Assure maintenance materials, equipment and supplies are kept in proper working order.
Perform daily facility safety checks. Clean up any debris and perform other maintenance duties.
Perform evening and weekend inspections of facilities as may be necessary.
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call
Follow all company rules and general guidelines
Reliability and Attendance – begin work on time and adhere to work hours and schedules
OTHER JOB DUTIES
Performs other tasks as assigned by a member of the management team and possible after-hours maintenance emergency calls.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma or GED required
Six to twelve months maintenance experience required
Valid Driver’s License required with form of transportation
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks
Able to multi-task, respond to rapid change; and perform work with minimal supervision
Able to work in a team and independently
Demonstrate strong work ethic by completing tasks with superior accuracy
Sense of responsibility and ownership over quality and quantity of work
