Job Summary:
Dunn Tire, a prominent tire retailer based in Buffalo, NY, is seeking dedicated Tire Technicians to join our dynamic team. As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, balancing, and rotating tires for both passenger and commercial vehicles. This entry-level position offers excellent training opportunities for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Mount and balance tires on light trucks and passenger vehicles
- Inspect damaged tires to assess repair feasibility and recommend disposal if necessary
- Rotate tires to ensure even wear
- Conduct air pressure checks and re-torques as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols including wearing protective gear and following torque specifications
- Assist with miscellaneous garage duties such as unloading delivery trucks and maintaining cleanliness
- Document all necessary information accurately on paperwork
- Scan work orders efficiently
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of bending, kneeling, squatting, and twisting without difficulty
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
