Express Employment Professionals are looking for Machine Operators for a Sugar Production Company in the Buffalo, NY area.
12HR Shift
Hours: 6:30pm to 7am
Monday-Thursday
Pay rate: $12.00 - $14.00/hr
Responsibilities:
-Produce quality product that is sealed and coded properly
-Fill out all required daily paperwork and conduct mandatory quality control checks
-Perform hourly test of Metal Detector (CCP) on assigned production line and understand procedures to follow for any failed tests or rejected bags
-Ensure that the proper packaging and labels are being used and communicate any questions regarding production to expediter, supervisor or management
-Maintain machine and production area cleanliness
-Ensure that their packing team is aware of all of their duties and are packing/palletizing the product properly
-Train new packers in all aspects of their job
-Assist Scale person as necessary
-Be vigilant for any product contamination or otherwise unsafe conditions that affect the product and report such things to shift supervisor or management
-Open daily re-work
-Communicate all problems to Shift Supervisor in a timely manner
-Assist in the cleaning of the plant as required
-Follow all company policies of dress and conduct
-Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Procedures in handling product and cleaning machines
-Assist in the plant when and where needed
-No jewelry, make up, fragrances, nail polish, false eyelashes or nails
