Administrative Assistant for Financial Services/Tax Practice

We are seeking a part time (full time in tax season, Feb-Apr) detail-oriented and proactive Tax and Financial Services Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our financial advisors and tax professionals in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role requires excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen interest in financial services and tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist financial advisors with client account management, including data entry, document preparation, and client communication.

Schedule and coordinate client meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared in advance.

Support tax professionals during tax season with data collection, document organization/scanning, and client follow-ups.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our system.

Handle client inquiries and provide timely responses to ensure client satisfaction.

Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, scanning, and office organization.

Coordinate and verify billing for tax clients.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.

Previous experience in a financial services or tax preparation environment is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Quickbooks

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of integrity and professionalism.
