Frey Electric is seeking a Bid Coordinator to oversee all private and public bids for the company as well as handle post bid paperwork for newly awarded projects.
Incoming candidate will be fully trained
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research new bid/estimate opportunities. Provide details on the project out for bid to the management team.
- Download bid documents and distribute them to the Estimator assigned.
- Follow up and distribute all Addendums.
- Provide Pre-qualifications forms when required.
- Complete bid forms and assure all necessary attachments are needed.
- Request Bid Bonds from Surety Company.
- Process paperwork for new vehicles purchased.
- Process paperwork for all company owned cell phones.
Post Bid Responsibilities:
Follow up on all required documents the Owner or Construction Manager (CM) will require such as:
- Signed Contracts
- Insurance
- Bonds
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years previous construction Project Coordination or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Work, Adobe Acrobat and experience with misc. construction programs is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
- Procore Project Management system experience
- Experience working within the construction industry a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines.
