Summary: Maintains and repairs equipment, buildings, and grounds of the facility by performing the following duties.
1. Repair minor problems of buildings and foundations to include the roof, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and all mechanical contents of the building.
2. Communicate any health and/or safety concerns immediately to management.
3. Keep machines and building electrical and plumbing in good working condition at all times.
4. Clean snow and debris from sidewalk as needed.
5. Respond in a timely manner to emergency maintenance calls while on emergency on-call rotation.
6. Maintain work area in a neat and clean manner.
7. Ensure security of tools and unused maintenance supplies.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to personal protective equipment, health and/or safety procedures.
9. Apply general knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, steam, refrigeration, welding, painting, and masonry work as needed.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and basic knowledge of building maintenance.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
