Carvana is adding a Senior Auto Body Professional to our team at our Inspection Center in Akron, NY!
Hours are Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (40-hour weeks)
Hourly Wage for this role starts at $26/hour (willing to pay higher for more experience)
As an Experienced Auto Body Professional, you’ll be expected to train other autobody technicians and perform extensive paint or bodywork on multiple panels, including:
Blending base coat for a color match for two-stage paint application
Correcting fish-eyes as they appear in the paint
Using water-based paint to paint/gloss the vehicle inside our paint booths
Heavy plastic welding/stapling
Heavy metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding
Roof and rocker panel repair
Large area, heavy bodywork (including Bondo repair)
