SCT, Inc. is currently seeking a manual machinist with experience on the set up and operation of manual lathes, horizontal and vertical milling machines in a job shop environment.
The ideal candidate will be proficient at reading and understanding micrometers and shop drawings. Operating engine lathes, vertical and horizontal mills. Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specification, using precision measuring instruments. Candidate needs to get along well with others and be able to follow and retain verbal and written instructions.
This is a full time position. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. We offer a comprehensive benefit package which includes paid time off, overtime, bonuses, retirement plan and employer assisted paid health insurance.
