Hi, we have been blessed with lots of work. We are looking for a Remodeler Helper. You should have some experience with drywall, carpentry, painting, and general remodeling.
We do high end remodeling work all over WNY, but mostly in Northern Erie County suburbs and Niagara County. A little in the Southtowns and nothing in the City of Buffalo.
We do mostly Bathrooms, Kitchens, Drywall, Painting, Windows, Doors and enlarging rooms by removing walls. We also do some exterior work like Porches and Decks.
Mostly Interior Remodeling done while my Customers are living in the home. I mention this because I have found quite a difference between people that do Remodeling vs. New Construction.
With my kind of work, you have to be much "cleaner", both in the way you leave the jobsite and in the way you act and talk while there.
I like to hire other skilled people as 1099 Subcontractors.
As I said, I am not looking for employees. I am looking for a reliable person with a positive, can-do attitude for this kind of work on an independent contractor basis 40+ hours available each week.
Of course, you need your own driver's license and transportation and also your own personal hand tools.
Some of the work we do will require a background check, so no criminal past.
The Helper position pays $20.-25./hour to start, possibly more based on your skills.
