We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering appliances and equipment to our customers, ensuring timely and safe transportation. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, with experience in appliance delivery and installation. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and efficient delivery practices.
Duties:
Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances and equipment to various locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Assemble appliances as needed at the delivery site, ensuring they are set up correctly for customer use.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each job completed.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch of deliveries.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
Experience in field service or as a service technician is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) safely.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
