Position Overview:
We’re hiring a reliable and personable Counter Person to join our team. You’ll be the face of the shop—greeting customers, taking orders, preparing food and beverages, and helping keep things running smoothly behind the counter.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and other items to order
Operate the register and handle cash/credit transactions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Restock food, coffee, and paper goods as needed
Assist with opening and/or closing duties
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
Prior experience in food service or customer service preferred but not required
Strong communication and people skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Dependable, punctual, and a team player
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Schedule:
Weekday and weekend shifts available. Morning availability preferred.
