Restaurant Matilda is a new fine dining restaurant located in boutique hotel, The Henson, in Hensonville, NY - the heart of the Catskills. Owned in partnership with Michelin starred Chefs Jeremiah Stone & Fabian Von Hauske (Bar Contra; Wildair in NYC) and Ely & Danielle Franko (The Hunter Houses). We are a very busy restaurant looking to hire multiple cooks to expand our offerings. Staff housing available.

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking meals for our guests. If you have experience in the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the food service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests
- Monitor food quality and freshness
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
