About Us:
Deer Mountain Inn is located in the hills above Tannersville, NY.
We are looking to hire a part time event cook. During wedding season we host large events 3 days per month. Event Cooks are given the opportunity to sign up for any event they wish. Shifts may also be available the day before an event and on site housing can be arranged if available.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prep work for the event if applicable
-Execution of the event. Preparing food, cocktail hour food, plating canapes, plating entrees
-Assisting with the breakdown of kitchen supplies and food post event
-Assisting with the cleaning of the kitchen spaces post event
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with working large scale events
- Previous experience with kitchen prep work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 40lb or more
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Reliable transportation to and from work
