The Onteora Club, a private, non-tipping establishment located in the Catskills, is seeking qualified and dependable wait staff for the upcoming season. We are looking for individuals who are professional, team-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview:
Wait staff are responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to members and guests during lunch, dinner, and special events including banquets and private functions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Wage: $21.00 – $25.00/hour, commensurate with experience
Training provided prior to the start of the season
Free employee meal during shift
Flexible scheduling available based on operational needs
Expected Hours: 25–35 per week
Requirements:
Availability for the full season (mid-May through mid-October) preferred
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds as required by the role
Prior serving experience is preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment
