The primary role of the Controller is to supervise the accounting staff, prepare financial reports for multiple business units, contribute to budget creation, and manage audits. This role is vital in our industry as it involves managing budgets and delivering financial reports. Responsibilities: Oversee the accounting staff ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. Prepare comprehensive financial reports for various business units, presenting detailed and accurate financial statuses. Collaborate in creating the budget, working closely with other financial leaders. Assist in month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee operational and financial audits, implementing necessary changes and improvements to meet industry and regulatory standards. Manage budgets, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and financial goals are met. Lead financial audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Implement and maintain internal control systems to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization. Continually improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or related field Must possess strong skills in financial reporting Ability to manage budgets effectively Familiarity with financial software and systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proven leadership and management skills Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field, Master's degree preferred Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines High ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential information Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
