Contract Position
Remote during COVID restrictions; some travel required after COVID restrictions
Client Location: Chestnut Ridge, NY
Delivering Results Responsible for delivering on solutions identified by management. Expected to lead efforts in a manner that flawlessly executes against goals and objectives. This includes doing both the project management and technology implementations. Operations Maintain current technology offerings. Ensure that the overall health and performance is working to the desired level (as identified by management). Embrace the principle of "continuous improvement" identifying and proposing opportunities to improve the overall cost structure, quality, cycle time, capabilities. Customer Facing Engage with business and understand business practices and policies. Identify technological capabilities that enable, enhance business outcomes. Document requirements, and translate in to technology process and associated tools. Define data requirements. IT Processes Responsible for delivering, participating in required departmental activities including, but not necessarily limited to:

  • IT Project management processes
  • IT Change Control
  • Other required department or company procedures

  • Bachelor s Degree preferable.
  • 7+ years of technology role experience.
  • 5+ years technology experience in a pharmaceutical environment, GxP environment. Minimally 3+ years working with QC Lab technology.
  • Proficiency in a body of information required for the job
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLPP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.

Skills required, include:
  • Must have deep experience in Waters Empower Administration.
  • Experience with QC and R&D Lab Systems.
  • Experience with Computer System Validation.
  • Experience in SDLC activities Client-server environments & hosted solutions.
  • Application Support and Administration, Support Models.
  • Strong Communication & Problem-solving skills
