Parkinson’s Program Director Annual Salary Range = $70,000 - $85,000Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation and management of the Parkinson’s disease program
Focus on establishing, developing, and sustaining the partnerships and teams that are essential for the effective performance of the Parkinson’s Disease Program to include fundraising for resources to achieve its’ mission
Establish and nurture relationships among physicians, care professionals, national and regional Parkinson’s programs and essential community partners
Responsible for planning, managing and facilitating movement classes, educational opportunities, support groups and social activities
Maintain accurate data and report measurable activities for funding
Must exercise fiscal responsibility in managing program costs and working within budgetary limits
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience required
Minimum of four years of experience in program coordination and implementation
Experience with collaborative leadership required
Strong interest in and desire to grow a community focused program
Self-directed and motivated starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently while functioning well as a part of a team
Ability to coordinate, synthesize, instruct, check or verify the work of others
Outstanding communication skills including in-person, virtual spaces, email and text
Skilled in interpersonal relationships, especially building and maintaining collaborative partnerships and making individuals feel welcome and valued
Highly skilled in the utilization and functions of Microsoft Office Products and web platforms.
