Support inkjet printing on glass & ceramics; characterize jetting behaviors of inks for drop/satellite formation, drop velocity, jetting stability, & surface wetting; modify waveforms & assess printhead maintenance; develop manufacturable drying/curing approaches for inks; assess impact of drying/curing on performance & adhesion; develop processes & oversee prototype samples for reliability, adhesion, color, solar exposure, surface energy & optical properties; coordinate maintenance & maintain database of printheads based on characteristics; develop new applications for inkjet & aerosol printing. Up to 10% domestic travel.
