Description Hannah Savage with Robert Half is looking to find a Purchasing Clerk with our rapidly growing client! The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for researching new vendors, products, and services and negotiating contracts for the best price and value. If you are an experienced purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills, this may be the role for you.What you get to do every single day:
Attend and contribute to meetings with staff and other stakeholders
Attend events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products
Maintain all records of purchased products
Write orders to refill stock based on inventory monitoring
Conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality for the best deal
Meet with vendors and clients to negotiate contracts
Inspect purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely
Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams, making sure that goods are received on time
Analyze costs and write reports on purchases made
