Cleaning position available in Corning. Position is part-time, 6AM - 9AM Monday through Friday. 15 hours per week. Worksite location is on Park Avenue.

Responsibilities:
Cleaning offices and common areas - restrooms, breakrooms, entrances, hallways, stairs, storerooms, etc.
Daily tasks include using provided chemicals, equipment and supplies to vacuum, sweep, mop, clean glass, empty trash, dust, polish fixtures and sanitize all surfaces in restrooms and kitchenettes.
Stock and fill dispensers.
Using a powered floor machine (autoscrubber), clean aisles and open areas of tiled flooring throughout facility 1-2 times per week. Training provided on how to properly use and maintain machine.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Ability to lift 40 or more pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, twist, and reach high and low during shift.
Must report to work each scheduled workday on time and work scheduled hours.
Must comply with all proper safety policies and procedures and wear provided Personal Protective Equipment to include safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and steel toe shoes.
Must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Must be able to read and write in English.
This is a permanent position with our company. We are looking for dependable people that can work the scheduled shifts consistently, take pride in a job well done. Personal transportation required to/from work site (limited public transportation available). Past cleaning experience a plus but not necessary.
