Commercial Painter Responsibilities:
· Painters must be proficient cut and roll as well as knowledgeable in spray applications.
· Surface prep, layout, cleanup, knowledge of tools and different properties of product.
· To qualify as journey person you must have 8,000 hours commercial painting.
· There are also opportunities for those without a lot of experience to come on board as an apprentice Drywall Finisher & Painters. Potential apprentices need a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
· Show up on time, perform rigorous physical activity, travel, work in a team, take direction. If you can handle those things then this just might be the right career for you.
Commercial Painter Requirements:
o A GED/High School Diploma is preferred but not a requirement
o Dependable transportation is required.
o OSHA 10 Required
