Making sure every part that leaves our facility is not only built to our customers specifications, but that it is proudly Made in the U.S.A.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our aerospace and defense components by programming and operating CMM equipment. This position requires a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with expertise in creating and executing CMM programs, conducting inspections, and contributing to the overall quality control processes.Key Responsibilities:CMM Programming:Develop and implement CMM programs using advanced software to inspect complex aerospace and defense components.Dimensional Metrology:Perform precise and detailed measurements using CMM equipment to verify the conformance of machined parts to engineering specifications.Blueprint Interpretation:Interpret and analyze engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to develop accurate CMM programs.Quality Control:Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that products meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements.Inspection Planning:Plan and execute inspection routines, including fixture design and setup, to facilitate efficient and accurate inspections.Data Analysis:Analyze measurement data and generate detailed reports, identifying any non-conformities and collaborating with engineering and production teams for corrective actions.Equipment Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on CMM equipment to ensure optimal functionality and accuracy.Continuous Improvement:Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and advancements in measurement techniques.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field - preferred but not required.Proven experience as a CMM Programmer in the defense or aerospace manufacturing industry.Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.Familiarity with various measurement instruments and tools.Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.Benefits offered:Paid time off.Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement benefitsHealthcare spending/reimbursementCareer Development“Veterans encouraged to apply”Premier Precision Machining, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to fostering diversity in its staff, and strongly encourages applications from the entire spectrum of a diverse community.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $22.83 - $30.05 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekMinimum Salary: 22.83
