All positions qualifications and skills:

• Provide excellent communication and customer service to all our customers

• Landscaping and hands on experience preferred; horticulture degree a plus

• Highly motivated, reliable, and strong attention to detail

• Focus on and believe in providing excellent customer care and service

• Strong time management, job planning skills, problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude are a must.

• Positive attitude with appreciation and excitement towards the industry.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and under seasonal pressure.

• Will routinely load/unload vehicles (including tractors onto trailers) and safely transport equipment and materials to job site. Individuals must be physically capable of properly lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.

• Safely operates vehicles such as trucks and trailer combinations.

• Clean and professional appearance.

• Punctual and dependable.

• Willing to work in a smoke free workplace

• Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus

• requires a high school degree or GED, plus one-year experience in the landscaping field or 3-years

In addition to the requirements above, the unique responsibilities, knowledge and experience for each of the positions is as follows:

LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE – Crew Leader

• Completes landscape maintenance duties, such as spring clean-ups, fall clean-ups, edging/mulching, pruning, plantings, and mowing, etc.

• The Crew Leader is an experienced landscaper that works as a member of the team and leads, directs and motivates the crew to complete jobs within specified hours and to exceed the customers’ expectations.

• Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner meeting the company productivity targets while meeting our quality standards

• Routinely interacts with customers when working at job sites by answering questions, responding to customer requests, and ensuring the customer’s satisfaction throughout the project.

• Maintains a clean and safe job site at all times

• Crew Leader will make recommendations on job status or customer concerns to management.

• Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to chainsaws, hedge clippers, commercial mowers, blowers, line trimmers, bob cat, back hoe, etc.

• Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed and notifies management of needed repairs

• Pesticide license a plus

CONSTRUCTION – Crew Leader

• Must have experience with installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, plantings, etc.

• Be able to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong candidates will be able to work well following instructions from the Management Team, handling appointed responsibilities and helping others to achieve their goals.

• Instruct a team of one or more crew members to provide optimum services

• There is a distinguished willingness to learn proper techniques and the correct and safe operation of all hand tools, power tools, tractors and bobcats.
