Savannah Community Church in Savannah New York is looking for a pastor to conduct pastoral duties. Our congregation is small, but looking to grow. The congregation is a wide range of young families, mid life families, and retired citizens who enjoy fellowship and have a genuine affection for each other. We consider ourselves to be more of a family, always there to help one another. The pastor that the Lord sends to us must know that there is work to be done and a church to grow, particularly with the youth. He must teach biblically-based doctrine in his messages as well as his life.
Savannah Community Church is an independent Bible based church in the rural top portion of the Finger Lakes Region in upstate New York. We are located right between Rochester NY and Syracuse NY, with in a half hours drive to two Finger lakes and Lake Ontario.
The ideal candidate must have a salvation testimony and a desire for Christian ministry with a humble spirit and character with integrity, prepared for the ministry through education and experience.
This position is part time! As the congregation grows, so would the duties of the pastor and with God's loving and helping hands this would become a full time position.
