We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee our office operations and financial management. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office while maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a background in bookkeeping and office management.
Duties
Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks.
Oversee bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
Utilize QuickBooks for financial record keeping and reporting.
Handle schedule management and calendar coordination for the office.
Maintain filing systems and ensure proper documentation of all office processes.
Provide clerical support including front desk duties, managing multi-line phone systems, and maintaining phone etiquette.
Implement organizational strategies to enhance productivity within the office.
Experience
Proven experience in office management and administrative roles is required.
Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and financial software such as QuickBooks is essential.
Experience in supervising teams and managing schedules effectively.
Background in construction management is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, vendors, and clients professionally.
