MAIN FUNCTION:
To follow direction given by Property Maintenance Manager in order to facilitate up-keep of all business and rental buildings and surrounding property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in all basic carpentry and electrical repairs
Assist in preparing and painting of rooms and spaces of the facility.
Assist in a basic plumbing and HVAC repairs.
Participate in regular maintenance rounds including cleaning, rubbish pick-up and disposal, outdoor maintenance including lighting, fences, gates and snow removal.
Act as an emergency driver, if needed.
Be available for any task assigned by the Property Maintenance Manager
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High school education or equivalent.
Basic mechanical aptitude; some experience or interest in the maintenance field.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to twist, bend, push, pull, lift, kneel, reach, stoop, crawl and climb stairs. This position is very active and requires standing and walking all day.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to grasp or feel and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned and makes general observations.
The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
