BroadStaff is happy to be working with Mann Wireless on their 6month + Contract to hire position supporting DAS Installation projects throughout the Greater NY area based out of their office in Ballston Spa, NY.
Someone who did work at Spectrum, Time Warner are good candidates
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Structured Cable Technician who has some experience with DAS Installs. The candidate will be responsible for the installation of the cabling portion of the DAS Install. Our client values hard working, independent and humble working professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
Installation and terminating Ct 5, Cat 6, coax
Running Cable, 1/2 inch Coax and Jumpers
Mounting racks and other construction work
Terminating and Connectorizing (JMA experience a plus)
DAS experience is a plus
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma
At least 1 year of structured cabling or wireless systems installation experience
Must be able to learn and adapt quickly
Must be able work both inside and outside normal daytime hours
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have reliable transportation
Willingness to travel 5 days a week for site work
