Description Our client is one of the top ten largest retail landlords in the United States. The firm currently manages over 70 million square feet of commercial real estate, comprising hundreds of properties, and is actively expanding. This is a fully in-person role where the Paralegal will report directly to the General Counsel. Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the commercial lease renewal process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating renewal agreements.
Ensure all lease agreements comply with local, state, and federal laws.
Communicate with tenants and property managers to clarify lease terms and conditions for renewals.
Maintain accurate records of commercial lease agreements, including tracking renewal deadlines and terms.
Assist in legal research, risk assessment, and dispute resolution related to lease terms and renewals.
Requirements
Requirements:
College Degree
2+ years of experience handling commercial lease renewals is required.
Full comprehension of the external environment's impact on corporate leasing agreements.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Sound judgment and strong analytical skills for evaluating lease agreements and legal situations.
Excellent communication skills.
