She/he will work with teams in Regional and Global offices, and across Divisions within the Latin America & Caribbean region to: Drive business optimization and growth, leveraging data analytics. Track trends in performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide fact-based insights and sound recommendations to business owners Foster exchange of best practices regionally and globally Establish working groups to accelerate business optimization implementations and business growthRole Owns the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing KPI reports, analyses, and dashboards to track performance against targets and drive key business decisions Helps business partners gain key insights into business performance by market and customer segment Provides analytical input for target setting across multiple business dimensions during annual planning process Defines functional requirements for analytical solutions demanded by the business owners leveraging established and novel tools and methodologies Performs ad-hoc projects or targeted assignments to develop practical and actionable analytical solutions to address emerging business needs; and assists in the coordination of projects across stakeholders Build strong business partnerships with leaders of all levels and functions across LAC Leads junior members of the team and coordinates with Business Excellence Divisional teams to identify efficiencies and share best practicesAll About You Proven track record in dashboards and KPI preparation and maintenance Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience working with large data sets, synthesizing large amounts of information, and summarizing insightful findings Passionate about data and data visualization with relevant experience in popular data analytics (Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Looker) Advanced Microsoft Office skills SQL and Python proficiency with Software development experience being a plus Experience conducting accurate business and financial analysis; building/maintaining complex financial models Excellent verbal and written communication/influencing skills Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to engage with senior team members and present data-driven recommendations synthesizing more relevant information Team player, comfortable managing a team of direct reports and influencing peers across the region (i.e., Analytics/Business Excellence community) Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is a must. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
