With a deep understanding of the law, local tendencies, and client goals, we are committed to achieving the most favorable results possible.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team in a full-time hybrid role based in Garden City, NY with flexibility for remote work when there are no court dates or client meetings. The attorney will handle a variety of family law cases, including dissolution, custody disputes, support matters, adoption, and asset division. This role requires a commitment to client service, collaboration, and delivering high-quality legal representation.Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorces, custody disputes, adoptions, and marital property agreements.

Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and agreements.

Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and conducting depositions.

Advocate for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.

Provide guidance on complex cases involving high-net-worth asset division.

Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law practice, including contested and non-contested divorce, guardianships, and adoptions.

Expertise in drafting motions, conducting depositions, and handling high-net-worth asset division cases.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in the NY State Bar.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
