Description We are offering a contract for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Smithtown NY. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will have the crucial task of managing our financial data, tracking costs, and enhancing project profitability. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our profit and loss structure.Responsibilities: Delivering accurate financial insights by handling all aspects of QuickBooks with a particular emphasis on Job Costing and Project Profitability. Establishing best practices for job costing and project profitability reporting to ensure clean, reliable data. Managing the company's profit and loss structure, from detailed cost tracking to high-level reporting. Creating financial reports and providing actionable insights for management to aid in sound financial decisions. Utilizing computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions. Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
