Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders, managing returns, and operating material handling equipment. You will also maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensure safety protocols are followed, and collaborate with team members to ensure timely handling of materials and deliveries.Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
Inspect, identify product codes, log, communicate and execute directions for returns.
Operate material handling equipment, including ladders, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring products are handled safely.
Perform cycle counts and basic inventory management tasks.
Maintain general warehouse and company vehicle organization and cleanliness, including sweeping, trash collection, and recycling.
Operate a motorized floor scrubber to keep floors clean and hazard-free.
Stock products appropriately on shelves, keeping pallets and staging areas organized, and walkways clear and free from trip hazards and debris.
Always adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members and the Project Management group to ensure materials and deliveries are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in order picking, packing, and shipping.
Competency using computers, printers, scanners, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Ability to operate material handling equipment, including ladders, forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment (certifications are a plus).
Ability to climb up and down ladders, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Basic inventory management skills, including cycle counting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to perform general housekeeping duties, including garbage collection and recycling.
Clean and valid driver’s license.
Overtime as needed/required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certifications in operating material handling equipment are a plus.
Experience with warehouse inventory and data entry.
