Supervise and lead the shipping/receiving team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
Coordinate and manage the shipment and receipt of materials, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, particularly for hazardous materials.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments (production, procurement, quality control) to ensure smooth workflow.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in shipping/receiving operations.
