A residential design/build firm, based near Rhinebeck, NY, is looking for an architect or
interior designer, to collaborate in designing and managing high-end residential
projects. If you are both creative and organized, are skilled in design and construction
administration, consider joining our collegial team.
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL WORK WITH THE FIRM’S PRINCIPAL TO:
Meet with owners to understand their project vision and set scope
Design and draft for new construction and renovation projects
Produce 3D renderings (skill appreciated, but not required)
Select materials, fixtures, fittings and finishes
Establish project budgets
Manage project schedules
Place material and product orders and schedule deliveries of supplies
Coordinate with the carpentry team to execute according to project goals
Manage sub-contractors for bidding and scheduling
Make site visits to projects under construction
other miscellaneous office duties
