Yellow Bell Farm is looking for a new farmers' market team member.
Reliable help needed to drive our van from Red Hook, NY(upstate) to our farmers markets (Morningside Park and Chelsea) in NYC.
CLEAN valid drivers license.
Lift 50lbs/physically strong.
Neat, and orderly.
Must be able to work reliably every Sunday.
Advanced notice for vacation days off please.
Job Hours
Leave farm 5:00 am
Return farm 4:00/4:30pm
Duties & wage.
$300 for this Saturday route.
-Drive to farmers markets and drop off coolers, and market display set up(tent,table,etc)
Then head to the second farmers market where you will set up ez-up tent, table and sell our fresh chicken and eggs to customers.
At market end pick up the other markets supplies, and return to farm.
-Make and build sales, appreciation for importance of local farm/foods.
Enjoy working with people in what can be a fast paced environment.
Following the markets rules is important.
We will train you at the farmers' market on set up and sales.
If we hire you, you will fill out at W-4, I-9 and be paid a weekly paycheck.
Year round position.
References required.
