Love, Velma, a private, upscale jazz club in Ellenville, NY, is seeking a reliable, charismatic host and cashier for our venue. Our events are 2-3 times a month on Fridays or Saturdays from 7pm-2am.
Responsibilities:
-Greet guests as they arrive
-Make basic change for beverage purchases
-Provide info on the club and artists
Requirements:
-Must be 21+
-Must be friendly, outgoing, charismatic/stylish, and communicative
-Must have experience handling cash at a busy store or bar
-Must be able to work from 7-2am at night
-Must be able to lift 15 pounds
-Must be able to stand / be on your feet for 7 hours+
-Must be able to use an iPad
-Love of live music a plus
-Must be comfortable working in a room where cannabis and alcohol are consumed
