We are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Prep team member to join our team. This position plays an essential role in supporting daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks.
Responsibilities
Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients according to recipes and standards
Assist cooks/baristas with food prep for menu items and specials
Ensure food is stored properly and rotated according to health & safety guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and prep area throughout the shift
Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergy protocols
Assist with inventory, restocking, and receiving deliveries
Communicate effectively with team members to keep service running smoothly
Perform other duties as assigned by shift lead or lead cook
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Dependable and punctual
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
Schedule & Pay
Part-time position (approx. 15–20 hours/week)
Weekend availability required
Pay: Hourly / based on experience
