Title Server
Reports to Restaurant Manager
Responsible for providing world class service and hospitality to our members, guests, and prospects. The server will be responsible for entering orders in POS, having thorough knowledge of all items on the menu, assisting with monthly inventory, delivering items to each guest, and providing suggestions for food and beverage pairings.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome all guests by opening the door when available.
Promptly respond to all guest/member requests.
Record all orders accurately in the POS.
Be attentive to any food allergies.
Monitor expiration of perishable items.
Prior to delivery of food, ensure all orders are complete and accurate according to individual specifications.
Knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
Thorough understanding of all items on the menu and daily specials.
Ensure daily opening and closing responsibilities are completed accurately and consistently with the departments SOP.
All tables should be set per the departments SOP and ready for guests at all times.
Keep the appearance of the restaurant consistent throughout the day.
Daily stocking and re-stocking of all restaurant items as needed throughout the day.
Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant throughout the day with light housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, cleaning counters and tables, and garbage disposal.
Conduct inventory of all restaurant items as requested.
Report any maintenance and/or safety issues promptly to the Restaurant Manager.
Maintain all equipment and be sure it is properly handled and maintained.
Ensure the department complies with all government, safety, health, and security standards.
Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary.
Any other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
No specific degree required - though a bachelor's may be desirable
2 years experience in the hospitality industry and/or server experience required
TIPS Certification strongly preferred
